EMBROIDERED EGON

Schiele drawing nude before mirror, 1910

Crisp white linen is great but I get bored easily so I embroidered some pillowcases with naked ladies and Eastenders quotes. The first is after one of my favourite Schiele drawings.

The second is Albert Square's most stylish resident Dot Cotton chastising her sister.

Dot Cotton is by far the best dressed Eastender. Always such crisp shirts, sometimes amazing patterns and look at that great cross outside the shirt with pastel skirt suit for her sadly thwarted trip to the Ritz. She makes me worry that all women of a certain age sit around listening to Patsy Cline looking wistfully into their sherry.
