SHINY SHINY

I bought a reversible jacket yesterday. The sleeves are ridiculously shiny but I can't help but love them because they're stitched to the softest pale grey leather/suede.

I would like to wear it with this kind of make up face decoration:

recreating the look with stick on diamonte I bought in poundland. I think I'll have to wait for the right occassion, which is sad because I dressed up very badly for a space-themed Bestival a few years ago and this combination would have been great.

If I don't use the diamonte to give myself a terrible rash, I might try THIS OUT with black boot converse.

CRYSTAL JEWELLERY

Yesterdays jewellery.

Purple leather necklace from Zara, necklace of collected charms. Assorted (overexposed) gold rings. The blue crystal number is my latest addition from the Astrology shop on Neal Street, which is one of the funniest shops I've ever been to.Had there not been a woman in there already wittering on about her life chart I would have liked to have a chat with the staff who seemed very knowledgeable. I also visited Mysteries on Monmouth Street which had a fantastic back room (below). I plan to return and buy some candles very soon.

MONKI PLEATHER

Pleather is one of my least favourite things in the world. I really hate it and find the worst culprits to be pleather jackets, but this freebie from new (to England) Swedish label 'Monki' seriously tugs at my heartstrings even though it smells foul.

Also this little guy, too cute.

Shorts are great but remind me so much of lederhosen.
