Tuesday

LA LUNE.

Perfect tshirt for werewolf lovers, astronauts, astrologers. Very sad its sold old, it's the closest adult version of the fantastic Couverture kiddy pjs.

ART X FASHION?

A lot of people bang on about the way fashion and art are inextricably linked etc. For the most part I'm inclined to consider them as two separate entities but I was pleasantly surprised by these dresses. Made by Mother of Pearl in collaboration with artist John Currin, these dresses are the most literal collaboration and are a great success for it.

I like to think my tshirt is along the same lines.

PLAYING DRESS UP

This morning started very dramatically - screams, shouts, an intruder, a smashed lock, the feds (sorry) and some inky fingers. After a few coffees and various posited theories about why a man would break down a door run up to Susan's room and attempt to light a cigarette (more on the incident another time), the most natural thing seemed to be to go upstairs and try on some clothes...

It is a lot of fun living with an old friend when you both like clothes (double wardrobe etc). I particularly enjoy dressing Josie because she is a different shape, providing me with the opportunity to put together outfits I love but probably shouldn't wear.
Of the two outfits we both preferred the second, coming to the conclusion that the first was not particularly natural if that makes sense.

Second hand white silk shirt, Office platforms and Josie's Topshop jeans throughout.
First outfit - Mesh tshirt with beaded crosses, asos
Second - Josie's cropped lurex grip jumper Topshop
AMAZING GREEN COAT second hand, soon to be available from One Off , Josie's new styling venture.

LEAVERS HOODIES (OR NOT)

Josie's pyjamas! In year thirteen (partially down to my precocious insistence) instead of the leavers hoodies our textiles class printed these for everyone. Although it's slightly ridiculous surely it has to be better than an endless list of forgettable names on your back?

Wednesday

JOSIE'S MUM'S NEIL YOUNG TSHIRT

I love these photos: the hair, the concentration, those nails and that incredible ring. In my mind, this is the kind of t shirt you could justifiably cry about losing.

Monday

MORRISSEY

Can't quite imagine still wearing this tshirt when I'm seventy but I really really hope I will. Might look like a bit of a psycho with this on my back at the library but I think most would agree that the hordes of shitty leavers hoodys freshers insist on wearing are infinitely more offensive.

XXL

Arrived this morning, it looks red but it's more burgundy and thankfully not shiny in real life. It's XXL so I'm quietly hoping a real fatty had it before me.
