SUN SEA SND SEX

An unnamed facebook friend has a habit of posting tremendously annoying statuses detailing his drinking habits and proposing the end of the BBC along the lines of 'what do they even do?' Where do I start. His latest status laments that when he was young January advertising wasn't about Weightwatchers, online bingo and dating but SUMMER HOLIDAYS!  

I hope this witty campaign for Expedia pleases him. It makes me super excited for holidays without the gut-wrenching misery of looking at images of sandy beaches on the tube in January.



p.s. I lovvvvvvvvvvve that Namibia has an airport called EROS.

YET MORE HANDS

I saw this old Jil Sander campaign the other day and it led me onto a whole new hands post. It is not a weird fetish thing they're just really great.

I especially like how clean Mr Hold Fast's nails are, I wasn't expecting that.

Hands hands hands.

Helmut Lang has done some fantastic campaign shots full stop but these two focussed on the hands are particularly wonderful. During the Renaissance masters had large workshops and relied upon several assistants to complete their epic works. The exception was always the hands which Masters painted themselves because they were considered to be the most challenging.
