FLESHY TATS

Hands hands more hands. This time some knees scars and grazes too. According to my (half)French cousin his knees say 'Some extra miles mean less trouble'.


Perhaps I need to do a second blog about hands.

YET MORE HANDS

I saw this old Jil Sander campaign the other day and it led me onto a whole new hands post. It is not a weird fetish thing they're just really great.

I especially like how clean Mr Hold Fast's nails are, I wasn't expecting that.

Hands hands hands.

Helmut Lang has done some fantastic campaign shots full stop but these two focussed on the hands are particularly wonderful. During the Renaissance masters had large workshops and relied upon several assistants to complete their epic works. The exception was always the hands which Masters painted themselves because they were considered to be the most challenging.
